Setting up the Christmas tree and decorating

Christmas tree time! Ah, so many memories with the tree....Polly crawling inside it and sleeping...us playing with the ornaments...fluffing up all the branches(which really hurts my hands!)

New ornaments! Drew got a snowman.

Liz got dancing penguins eating Popsicles

Mariah received Winner-Ther-Pooh and Piglet staring out a window(it tells three different stories when you press the button!)

I got a kangaroo with a poll through its back.

Nateli got a butterfly design ornament. Rachelle's ornament is a SECRET.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving! a time for giving....thanks.....yeah. i set the table:)

The turkey was ready early, amazingly.

Mariah got all dressed up.

we all helped with making the food.

That is the dish i made(the bean casserole)

Dad always cuts the turkey, and this is the first year that i ate it.

after dinner, we played Rummikub and watched football and Hook.

Computer doodles

Here's a few pictures to hold you all over for my next post(Thanksgiving). This one on top i drew. you can't really see the words, but the yellow one says: Maybe we should go inside." Purple one says: yeah, let's go before he explodes."

Pumpkin carving

This is my pumpkin before I killed it. There's a knife in its head and the blood is rushing out!

Mariah had fun stabbing her pumpkin, got her anger out.

This was my design, a dragon with Chinese symbols (from top to bottom: Sun, Moon, Bright) Why did I pick those words? Well, their the only Chinese symbols that I know by heart, and their easy to carve onto a pumpkin.

Trick or Treat!

So much CANDY!!! How'd we get so much with just two kids trick or treating? Well, first they (Drew and Liz) went to trick or treat at their friends neighborhood, and then they all came to do it in our neighborhood.

Liz was Alice for halloween.

Drew was Gilligan, Becca and Cara were part of a school theme.
